Hello! I'm Renee ("REE-nee") Patitucci Redmond. I have spent my life in music and language learning and have been teaching most of my adult life. I am happy to share my previous work and qualifications below.

 

As an English language teacher, I offer personalized lessons, workshops and materials that will help you achieve the results you seek.  

I am especially excited to work with you in the areas of:

Summers 2019 - 2021

Provided English language tutorials to international music students accepted to the Conservatory

ESL Instructor at  Fordham University Institute of American Language and Culture, Community ESL Program, Bronx NY

September 2019 – May 2021

  • Provided English language instruction to immigrant learners in the Bronx

  • Created supplemental instructional materials for the Program

ESL Tutorial Teacher at CUNY Language Immersion Program, Bronx Community College

September 2018 – May 2020

Provided Academic English language tutorials to students accepted to the College pending passing scores for the CLIP program

Music Director at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Rye, NY

August 2006 – August 2017

  • Planned weekly musical selections and worked with all service teams

  • Maintained databases, music library and music budget

  • Led annual Holiday concert and conducted seasonal choir

MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

All my life, but to be more specific:

  • "CAKEWALK" Trio Performer, Composer and Recording Artist

  • Member of the original OPERA PACIFIC OVERTURE COMPANY for Education Outreach

  • Consultant for Music Teachers of students with special needs at CONCORDIA CONSERVATORY, Bronxville NY

​I enjoyed studying opera and sang the following roles with the CSUF Opera Theatre:

  • Susanna in Mozart's Le Nozze do Figaro

  •  Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni (pictured here with the amazing baritone Rod Gilfry!)

  • Lauretta in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi

  • Lucy in Menotti's The Telephone and others....
